Covenant Membership
Covenant membership teaches and embraces covenant community. The church is more than a gathering; it’s a people committed to changing the world for Jesus Christ, one gospel conversation at a time.
We believe that the church is not an institution or a building. The church, as Jesus demonstrates, is the people of Christ. Simply put, as a covenant member, you are Bethel!
At their core, covenant members commit to one another to live out the mission of Christ by faithfully gathering in worship, living righteously, and generously giving to the Kingdom by:
- Protecting the unity of the church (Psalm 133:1)
- Sharing the responsibility of the church (Ephesians 4:16)
- Serving the ministry of the church (1 Peter 4:10)
- Supporting the testimony of the church (Hebrews 10:25)
